This workshop introduces basic measurement uncertainty and traceability concepts. The concepts taught are then put in practice by developing sample measurement uncertainty budgets. Attendees are encouraged to work their sample uncertainty budgets with instructor input. Hands-on development of the uncertainty budget helps in the comprehension process. Excel spreadsheets are utilized for developing measurement uncertainty budgets.
This 3-day workshop is divided into 1.5 days of instruction and 1.5 days hands-on development of typical measurement uncertainty budgets.
Workshop includes e-learning prerequisite, certificate of completion, and lunch.
